Stratford is an inner suburb of Cairns located 7km north of the Cairns CBD. Stratford borders the northern edge of Mount Whitfield Conservation Park, the southern edge of the Barron River and neighbouring suburbs include Aeroglen, Freshwater, Brinsmead and Machans Beach. Stratford consists of a residential and industrial mix, with the two distinct areas divided by the Stratford Connection Road.
