Edmonton is the largest suburb in Cairns and is located in the southern corridor alongside Gordonvale and Bentley Park. With a large population, Edmonton is comprised of a mixture of residential and commercial land use as well as a large number of recreational areas. Being such a large suburb Edmonton has a large range of community amenities with both sport facilities, such as Fuller Park and Fuller Sports Club as well as recreational areas such as Sugarworld Parklands and Sugarworld Water Park.
