Caravonica is a northern suburb of
Cairns adjoining to
Smithfield,
Redlynch and
Kamerunga about 20-minute from the CBD. Being a developing suburb of
Cairns, Caravonica has many large blocks and areas of rural land available but also has new developments in the area helping to expand the region. With large amounts of rural land Caravonica contains many unstructured green spaces consisting of floodplain, rural and parkland. The
Baron River also flows through Caravonica providing a locally renowned swimming hole,
