Clifton Beach Suburb Profile
Clifton Beach is one of the northern-most beaches within Cairns adjoining to Kewarra Beach on the southern side and Palm Cove on the northern end. Clifton Beach is a mainly residential area with a mix of both residential and holiday leasing which attracts both visitors and permanent residents to the area. With a large number of neighbourhood parks, beach facilities, including a stinger net enclosure, tennis club and community hall Clifton Beach is extremely family-friendly and activity-orientated. Although Clifton Beach is located approximately 30-minute drive north from the Cairns CBD it still has access to many essential facilities due to the addition of the Clifton Beach Shopping Centre.
