Manoora is a central suburb of Cairns adjoining to
Edge Hill,
Manunda and
Mooroobool and is approximately 10 minutes drive west from the CBD. Being the third largest suburb in the region Manoora has a mostly residential land use but also a strong presence of commercial use, as well as a number of local, district and metropolitan level services and facilities, including
Jensen Street Park, new fitness equipment and green spaces scattered throughout the suburb. The postcode for Manoora is 4870.
Being such a large suburb Manoora has its own small shopping centre within the suburb. Piccone's Shopping Village contains a

Manunda and

Cairns High State School is also about 10 minutes drive away. The
Cairns Sunbus public transport service also runs throughout the area with multiple stop overs in the suburb.
