Kewarra Beach is one of the
Cairns northern beach suburbs and is located between
Clifton Beach and
Trinity Beach; about 30-minute drive north of the CBD. Kewarra Beach is predominately a residential suburb with a small mix of tourist and commercial services. There is parkland and a reserve scattered throughout Kewarra Beach including
Pelican Park Esplanade, and is also a 5-minute drive from

Smithfield Shopping Centre, the major shopping centre of northern

Trinity Anglican School has a primary campus and chapel at Kewarra Beach providing private schooling for year’s prep-6. The adjacent suburb of
Trinity Beach has a primary state school that offers Prep classes through to year 6. The nearest high school is
Smithfield State High School servicing years 7-12 and there is also a
Catholic primary school at Trinity Park, all are within 10-minute drive from Kewarra Beach. The
Cairns Sunbus public transport service also runs throughout the area with multiple stop overs in the suburb.
