New data from
listing site realestate.com.au revealed the Knott Ct estate on the foothills of
Mount Whitfield received more than 100,000 clicks from would-be buyers and
property enthusiasts. The opulent six-bedroom mansion at 21 Knott Ct was listed
by Nicholas Slatyer at Belle Property for sale by formal offer in August and
was tipped to fetch between $5 million and $10 million.

Mr Slatyer said
the vendors took the house off the market last month.

“I think being

The sprawling
home has been modelled on classical Greek and Roman architecture, has marble
floors throughout, two laundries, a cellar, gymnasium, a west wing with two bedrooms
and external entrance, and an east wing which includes an eight-car garage and
workshop. “As an agent we like to be in contact with as many buyers as possible
and it (the number of views) allowed us to speak to as many people as possible
and build our database.” In Queensland, the No.1 house viewed on the property
website was 15 Seventh Ave, St Lucia, in Brisbane.

The five-bedroom
home had 120,000 views since its listing in October. While the majority of the
most-viewed houses were in Brisbane, four were on the Gold Coast.

Cairns was the
only regional city to be included in the top 10 list.
